It was another bright Sunday morning. For Sarah, Sunday mornings were usually eagerly awaited. A smile lit up her face as she remembered she song that has been rehearsed the previous day. She had been assigned to do the lead singing - an opportunity many members of the choir craved, especially on Thanksgiving Sundays. The chiming of the grandfather clock in their state-of-the-art living room broke her reverie. It was already 6:45am.she was almost late for the pre-service prayer meeting for workers. She had a hurried bath and a quick bite. The service would be longer than usual today but far more interesting too. She quickly inspected herself in the mirror and smiled in satisfaction. Leaving instructions for the housekeeper, she left the house. Thank God she didn't have to walk. Daddy was out of town so she could go to church in his car. The idea of driving straight to the VIP parking lot was very appealing to her. Daddy, as one of the Deacons, had a special reservation in the VIP ...

"That I may know him, and power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death, (Philippians 3:10) Paul said that I may know Him and power of His resurrection. What you do not know can injure you. The Bible says, we should be ready to give answer about the faith that we have. Most people do not know anything about EASTER. Easter in the Christan sense is the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Historically speaking, the word Easter is an adulterated word of the name of a goddess that was worshipped in Europe many years ago. It was called the goddess of the early morning sun. That is where the name Easter came from. What happened was that many of the early Christian converts were worshipping this goddess at that part of the year. When they got converted, they were still drawn to that festive celebration. The church was in a dilemma as to what to do. Coincidentally, at that same time, the Jews celebrated thei...

Is beautiful, a perfect button nose? Is beautiful pretty brown eyes centered around a perfectly symmetrical face? Different time periods around the world suggest that people have always had different ideas of what a persons beauty on the outside consisted of. We must realize that everyones definition of beauty on the outside is going to be different, and if we live our lives trying to make ourselves beautiful on the outside we will quickly forget to develop our person on the inside. Not doing this will allow us to turn into someone we are not, someone that only lives to live up to someone elses standards instead of our own. Being yourself in all phases of life is the pure definition of being beautiful, so make an effort to make a positive effect on the world daily. Let everyone see your natural beauty, disregard what you look like on the outside and show someone how good of a place the world could be if we could just let the light inside of ourselves shine.

When I finished, she thanked me, went to the hotel room packed her luggage and she took off. When the man returned, she left a note for the man and in the note she said, 'thank you very much for your kindness, I just discovered that I have been living in sin, I shouldn't be in this hotel room with you. Temptation is a strong force that determines your success or failure in life. It is real, its power cannot be undermined and no human being is exempted from being tempted. Anytime you overcome temptation, it becomes a vehicle to move you closeer to your destination. Temptation will either make you or break you; it will either move you forward or place a limitation on your life. The choice is yours. There is no great man that has not gone through great temptations. Work is part of life, you cannot seperate the two. Great people pay a price to be great. If you do not sweat to succeed, you will sweat to keep it. Christianity does not insulate you from problems, but empowers you to overcome them, and for every temptation, there is a way of escape. You will never move to the next level unless you have faced and overcome temptation. Some people serve God only when it is convenient; learn to serve God in season and out of season. Sin Stay vigilant because the devil will not sit back and watch your dream materialize. Sin will kill your dream, mar your destiny and rob you of your life. It takes you from grace to grass and your destiny will be grounded. If you love your dream, hate sin with a perfect hatred. You will loose any victory you get through double standard. If there is no human being or authority you can obey unconditionally as a Christian, you are in trouble. Any time you take what is not rightfully yours you erect a pillar of hindrance on your way to success. MEDITATION Sin is rebellion against God, foolishness of action, faithflessness and refusal to do good when you know what you should do. Sin will cause a hindrance to your dream manifestation. Sin will make you suspend and even forget your dream. It will encourage you to procrastinate and say "I will get there later." Instead of living a life of sinfulness, be clothed with the image of Christ. When you remain unchanged, it means t...

If the word of God cannot change you, then it will confront you. When God makes you, nobody can unmake you and any advice void of the word of God cannot stand the test of time. MEDITATION God can take you beyond your salary, qualification and other constraints you may think you have, he can enlarge your coa...

Do not wait until conditions are right before you start sowing. MEDITATION If the dream is really important to you, sow a seed for its manifestation. If you want love, sow love; if you want money then sow money. Whatsoever a man soweth that he will reap also.

Your character can be an asset to your dream. It can also cut it short. If you want to manifest the power of God, you must first manifest the character of God, in order to attract the power that will bring about your dream manifestation. Patiently acquire all the knowledge required to make your dream possible. Knowledge is power. MEDITATION If you want to change the world around you, you must first be changed by God. The way you live your life will affect your character and your character will affect your dream. Mary was a woman of good character. It brought her angelic visitation.

Don't you always wonder why relationships are fun in the beginning and then it feels like something isn't there anymore later on? It's because someone stopped doing what they did to get you and now that you're theirs, they feel like they don't have to try as hard, they feel like they don't have to do as much. Before, they used to pay attention to you, text you all the time, reply back quick, be on the phone for hours, have so much to say, always doing this & that for you when you don't even ask them to, be all over you and now, they keep their hands to themselves, they ran out of things to talk about, conversations go dead, not making you feel like you're wanted by them and that's when you guys start drifting. If you want your relationship to last longer, never stop dating each other, never stop doing the things that made your partner fall in love with you, be creative, invest in your relationship, maintain the communication, be open to each, be ...

There is a huge difference between being moral and being righteous. Morality pertains to what you do. Morality is strictly self-willed or simply put,no divine assistance. Whereas righteousness is a nature -that is the nature of God. Adam was made righteous from the beginning but when sin entered,he fell from the glorious state. Romans 5:12; No matter how moral you are,the bible declares it as filthy rags before God because of the Adamic sin that has been transferred to man-kind. But thank God for Jesus Romans 5:19, the same way sin was imputed to man because of Adam's disobedience, so also righteousness has been imputed to those who believe because of the obedience of Jesus. Morality cannot save you. In the name of Jesus, I am born again, I am not moral; I am righteous.

Your life will always be to a large extent what you make of it. The mold to your success and fortune are in your hands. You cannot do everything, but you can do something. You choose your thoughts and actions. Only you can find success. Nobody can do it for you. Nobody will do it for you. You have to make it happen.  If you take responsibility for your actions, you can live your dreams.

1. The potency of prayer hath subdued the strength of fire; it hath bridled the rage of lions, hushed anarchy to rest, extinguished wars, suppressed the elements, expelled demons, burst the chains of death, expanded the gates of heaven , assuaged diseases, repelled frauds, rescued cities from destructiion, strayed the sun in its course and arrested the progress of the thunderbolt. Prayer is all - efficient panoply, a treasure in diminished, a mine which is never exhausted, a sky unobscured by clouds, a heaven unruffled by the storm. It is the root, thefountain, the mother of a thousand blessings. 2. Dr. Alexis CaL'ei-Nobel Prize Winner in Physiology. Realised from laboratory observations that cancer patients for whom medical treatments had failed were responding to prayer. To their amazement, they noticed physical shrinking of cancer cells as people were praying for the patients's divine healing. Dr. Alexis compared prayer to the force of terrestrial gravity. 3. A dream is a supernatural picture of who you should be that is printed on your heart by God himself. A man that desires success must have a dream. Your dream is the vehicle that carries your success. God has to be in the centre of your drream for you to succeed. Your future is packaged in the way you think today. The day you stop dreaming you start dying. Nothing is as potent as a dream whose time has come. Having a dream is not the same as day dreaming. If you value your dream, value your relationship with God. The possibility of the fulfillment of your dream is 100% dependant on your relationship with God. MEDITATION Do you have a dream? What do you see yourself as? Was the picture printed in your mind by God hiimself? If you do not have a God given dream to propel your life, you will go through life without a sense of direction. Your relationship with God is the power that moves your dream.

Reading today's scripture, vs 4 says "When they could not come nigh unto Jesus, because of the Crowd, they uncovered the roof". The Amplified Bible says: " They dug through the roof...". What Manner of Faith! Digging is tough! Waiting is tough! But Listen Child of God: The way TO is always THROUGH! Yes there is always a way (a roof) out of every battle! Find It! Refuse to give up. If these Men saw the crowd and gave up, the Devil would have rejoiced, but they had a stubborn determination and persistence to open the roof. Yes every obstacle has an opportunity and every opportunity has an obstacle, but never forget that for every crowd of delay or disappointment, there is a roof if appointment! Patience will show you the roof! Dig through that roof because this is your special month. Happy New Month People of God.
