Abuja, Nigeria — Former Inspector-General of Police, **Solomon Ehigiator Arase**, has died after a brief illness at Cedarcrest Hospital in Abuja. He was 69 years old. The Nigeria Police Force confirmed the news via its Public Relations Officer, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi. 1
