Be Grateful- (A Must Read).

Knowledge is Power I was in my final year in the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma hoping like every other graduating student, to graduate without any issue or carry-over, Little did I know that something bad was cooking up for me. There was a particular course we did and we all sat for the exam but unfortunately, we all failed the exam. The result was sent to the senate for approval but was rejected because they refuse to believe that mass failure was possible. Although it was solely the fault of the lecturer, how do you expect a student to pass a course he knows nothingg about, the lecturer never came to lecture all through out the semester and expects the student to pass his course, not that there were recomended materials to help the students, because it was new course. The senate returned the results un-approved, and the lecturer decided to upgrade everyone's result but unfortunately for me I didn't find mine. I reported the issue to the lecturer and he insisted I must ...

Image
Putting religious sentiments aside, Nigerian men of God have an eye for beautiful women and the pictures of the wives of top pastors in the country buttresses this point. There is a saying that “behind every successful man is a woman” . Successful Pastors in Nigeria have extremely beautiful and successful wives by their side. They are not just virtuous women, they are great mothers to their children and they are very fashionable.   Here are the top 9 most beautiful wives of pastors in Nigeria:   1. Helen Oritsejafor Helen is just as fashionable as her husband, founder of Word of the Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor. Light skinned and pretty, her love for wide brimmed hats is unparalleled and she has them in numerous eye-catching colours to match her expensive outfits.        2. Pastor Folu Adeboye A mother of four children and grand mother, Pastor Folu or Mummy G.O. as she's fondly called is the author of num...

The Power of Sacrificial Offering

Those who want to progress and experience the principle of lifting must delight themselves in the Almighty God. They should strictly adhere to God's statutes and devotedly carry out the duties in the house of God. The solution to your various challenges cannot be found on the streets but in the house of God. However, your focus must not be on your probles but sacrifice. Put your sacrifice on the alter, even your righteousness. If Zachariah had opted to having a child before doing God's work, he wouldn't have had a child. Jacob in Genesis 30v33a says: "so shall y righteousness answer for me in time to come". Jacob refused to cheat on his uncle Leban, despite being ill treated by him. Just put all your sacrifices of time, talent, treasure, tears and thanksgiving on the alter; leave it there and be happy and the joy of the Lord will be your strength.

Words of Wisdom

Image
Successful people have two things on their lips, "smile and silence". Smile can solve problem while Silence can avoid problems. Sugar and salt may be mixed together but ants reject the salt and carry away only the sugar. Select the right people in life and make your life better and sweeter. If you fail to achieve your dreams, change your ways not your God. Remember, trees change their leaves and not their roots. You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones to every dog that barks. Haters will see you walking on water and say its because you can't swim. Even if you dance on water, your enemies will accuse you of raising dust. Make it your ambition to live a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your own hands. Remember, don’t ever wrestle with a pig. You’ll both get dirty, but the pig will enjoy it. -- Be Inspired and have a great day ~ By PRINCESS ONYII

The Measure You Give Is What You Get

Image
by  Adenowo Sometimes we fall in love with people not because they are good-looking, rich, caring not even because you love them but because you just wanna be close to them...Its not because there ain't people who are better than them 10 times over but you choose them for reasons you sometimes cant even explain...Have you ever been so close to someone and when they get you angry, you wonder how did I even get this close to this guy/babe? if you have ever asked yourself such questions...then you alone will understand my point... But many times this people you fall in love with or you are "fond"of really take you for a fool atimes...they think because you have shown them too much that you love them..it literally means you gonna die if they exit your life for a second...smiles.. The fact is that I love and adore you so much doesn't mean my breathe will seize if you walk away..truth be told I'll feel weak...I'll cry...brood over the memories..the good times we...

Eating Your Cake and Having it

I just read an article about what the writer calls the 'come-to-my-house-syndrome' among Nigerian men. of course the writer is a lady, and majority of the people that commented were ladies. Naturally my views on the topic was biased to an extent. I couldn't help asking some questions: 1. The writer complained that Nigerian men don't know Jack about how to date/court a lady anymore. All they do is "come to my house" just after meeting. (And most times, "come to my house" leads to sex demands). But then, why do many of these ladies treat the few guys who court or intend to court properly as if they are not serious? I mean, a young man approaches you and asks you out on a date. Probably takes things slow, trying to get to know you, and never makes any sexual demand. The lady feels like, "he is a nice guy. I like him shaa, (but as a friend). What option does that leave the 'properly groomed Nigerian men' (as they were referred to in the ...
